Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 October 2026

This policy explains what CollegeOnn collects from you, why, and what we do with it. CollegeOnn is owned and operated by Druze Analytics OPC Pvt. Ltd. (“we”, “us”), with its registered office at 9, 18th Cross Rd, EWS Colony, BTM Layout 2nd Stage, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560076.

By using collegeonn.com you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. What we collect

Information you give us

  • To sign in: your mobile number. We send a one-time password to it and use it to identify your account.
  • Your profile: your name, city and the exam you are preparing for, if you choose to add them.
  • When you submit an enquiry or counselling request: your name, mobile number, email, city or state, the college or course you asked about, and whatever you write in the message box.
  • Reviews: if you write a review of a college, the text and rating you submit.

Information collected automatically

  • Your IP address when you submit a form. We use it for abuse and rate-limit checks.
  • The page you submitted a form from, the page that referred you, and campaign tags in the link you arrived through (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign and similar).
  • Which promotional slots on our own site were shown to you and which you clicked, so we can tell whether a campaign is working.
  • Standard server logs kept by our hosting providers.

Cookies and browser storage

We set one essential cookie after you sign in. It holds a session token, is marked HttpOnly so scripts on the page cannot read it, and exists only to keep you signed in. We also keep a copy of your own profile in your browser's local storage so the page can show your name immediately on load. Clearing your browser data removes both.

2. How we use it

  • To sign you in and keep your session active.
  • To answer your enquiry — by phone, WhatsApp, email or SMS, depending on what you gave us.
  • To pass a genuine admission enquiry to the college or counselling partner you asked about, so they can respond to you.
  • To publish reviews you submit, after moderation.
  • To understand which pages and campaigns are useful, in aggregate.
  • To detect spam, abuse and automated submissions.
  • To meet legal or regulatory obligations.

3. Who we share it with

We share your information only where it is needed to do the thing you asked for:

  • Colleges and counselling partners — when you submit an admission or counselling enquiry about a specific institution, so they can contact you about it.
  • Service providers who run our infrastructure — our hosting, database, caching and media providers, who process data on our instructions only.
  • Authorities — where we are required to by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. How long we keep it

Account information is kept while your account exists. Enquiry records are kept while they are being followed up and afterwards for our own records, unless you ask us to delete them. Logs are kept for a limited period by our hosting providers.

5. Security

Passwords do not exist on this site — you sign in with a one-time password sent to your mobile. Session tokens are stored hashed on our servers, never in plain text, and the cookie that carries your session is not readable by page scripts. The site is served over HTTPS.

No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If you believe your account has been misused, write to us at contact@collegeonn.com.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct it if it is wrong.
  • Delete your account and the information tied to it.
  • Stop contacting you for marketing purposes.

Write to contact@collegeonn.com from the email or mobile number on your account. We may need to verify who you are before acting. Some information may be kept where the law requires it.

7. Children

Students applying to college are often under 18. We do not knowingly collect more than the information described above from anyone, and we ask that a minor use this site with the knowledge of a parent or guardian. If you believe a minor has shared information with us that should be removed, write to us and we will remove it.

8. Other websites

Our pages link to college websites, official exam portals and other third-party sites. Once you leave CollegeOnn, this policy no longer applies — those sites have their own.

9. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change, and the date at the top will change with it. Significant changes will be notified on the site.

10. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, grievances about the processing of your information may be sent to:
